Happy Paws was founded in January 2018 and is a small, self-funded not for profit rescue group located in Central Victoria. Operating through a network of Foster Homes, we are a small but dedicated team of volunteers who lovingly prepare homeless animals for the next chapter of their lives.
Animals arrive at Happy Paws through various means including surrenders from the public and rescues from both Victorian and interstate pounds. Each animal is provided with the highest level of care and given any veterinary care required. Prior to adoption all animals are Desexed, Vaccinated and Microchipped. We take great care in finding our animals their forever families and offer trail periods and ongoing support to ensure a successful placement.
We aim to educate the public about responsible pet ownership, promote the importance of desexing and offer a Last Litter Program on a case by case basis. We are currently working on several exciting projects which will help grow our rescue into 2020 and beyond.
